As Williamsport High School prepares for the 2026–2027 school year, one thing is clear: student success begins with meeting basic needs.
In a recent letter to community partners, Williamsport High School shared its appreciation for the incredible support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals while highlighting an ongoing need for essential supplies that help students come to school ready to learn.
As one of Washington County Public Schools’ designated Community Schools, Williamsport High School serves as more than just a place for education. Community Schools are designed to remove barriers to learning by connecting students and families with resources that support both academic achievement and overall well-being.
Why These Donations Matter
Many students arrive at school facing challenges that extend beyond the classroom. Access to clean clothing, hygiene products, backpacks, and nutritious snacks can make a significant difference in a student’s confidence, attendance, and ability to focus throughout the day.
The school’s Wildcat Closet provides these essentials discreetly to students who need them most, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed with dignity.
Join the Community Supply Drive at Antietam Wealth Management
To help meet these needs, Antietam Wealth Management is hosting a Community School Supply & Essentials Drive until August 25th in support of Williamsport High School’s Wildcat Closet.
Community members, clients, local businesses, and organizations are encouraged to drop off donations at the Antietam Wealth Management office. All collected items will be delivered directly to Williamsport High School to help students start the school year with the essentials they need.
Every donation—whether it’s a backpack, hygiene products, new socks, school essentials, or individually packaged snacks—makes a meaningful difference. Together, we can ensure students have the resources they need to feel confident, prepared, and ready to learn.
By participating in this community drive, you’re doing more than donating supplies—you’re investing in local students and helping remove barriers to their success. Join Antietam Wealth Management in supporting our neighbors and showing Williamsport High School students that our community stands behind them.
